People often ask me why did I abandon the people that I grow-up with. I want to very clear here. There are times in life when you have to create separation from people and environments. I have love for the people that I came up with back in Providence, RI. The problem was when I was there I didn’t love myself so the one that was being abandoned was me, by me. There are many universities out there that you can attend. Some are better recognized in certain areas then others. You wouldn’t go to a school that was best known for business if you wanted to study medicine, Would You?

I like to get right to the point, so here it is.

1. If the people that you have around you are not going in the direction that you want your life to go, you do not have the right to blame them at all. It is up to you to create separation and surround yourself with a new group of people. it is up to you to pick the university that best fits your needs.

2. I understand that it is not easy to just pack up and move to a new state at the drop of a dime. The next best thing is to move to a new place within your state and avoid all the places that you use to go that had no true value for you.

Steps 1 and 2 will give you the space that you need to find your true self and your purpose. Remember separation gives you time to grow.
